Guests of Honor 2022

In 1958, Claudia Cardinale made her film debut with "The Pigeon" by Monicelli, then "The Girl with a Suitcase" by Zurlini, which really launched her career. Favorite actress of Luchino Visconti (Rocco and his brothers, The Cheetah), she tours with the greatest directors in Italy, France and the United States such as Federico Fellini (Eight and a half), Blake Edwards (The Pink Panther), Sergio Leone (Once upon a time in the West), Marco Ferreri (The Audience). Her international filmography lists around 130 films and Claudia Cardinale has been rewarded for her entire work, among other things, with a Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 1993 and an Honorary Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 2002.

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the films "Huit et demi" and "Le Guépard", the Festival will pay a vibrant tribute to one of the greatest figures and star of world cinema.
